Green Castle to inaugurated eleventh Old Home Week
Greencastle and Antrim residents reunite for the eleventh Old Home Week starting August 7 with events including a memorial at the Greencastle cemetery led by Hon. Wat son R. Davison, a union church service, an open house at local industries, a baseball game and band concert, then reminiscence meetings and a Conococheague creek picnic followed by more games and a fire drill.

Annual Sale Of Pure Bred Rams Well Attended
The second annual purebred sheep show at Boonsboro, under Maryland Stockmen's Association and University of Maryland, sold 19 Hampshire and Shropshire rams at an average of 13.65 each. Fifteen rams went to Washington county farmers. Judge David Sutherland, Buckland Hall Farm, Nokesville, Va, oversaw judging. First prizes were awarded to Dr. H. Conley Frederick (Hampshires) and A. E. D. Stotelmyer Boonsboro (Shropshires). Other consignors included Belair Farms Bowie Blair S. Titus Adamstown J. E. Proclamation of Maryland Act on Washington County Funds

Two Injured In Auto Crash Near Middletown
Joseph A Mullendore and his daughter Patricia of Delemere near Breathedsville were injured when their car on the National Highway near Middletown was hit by a Pittsburgh-driven vehicle. The Mullendore car overturned and was badly damaged. Patricia suffered cuts and facial bruises while Joseph sustained injuries.
