Shepherd College Foundation Elects New Officers
The Shepherd College Foundation elected officers and directors for two year terms at its annual meeting. William Ages was named treasurer and secretary. Earl Weller of Martinsburg was named attorney for the Foundation. Dr. James Moler was re elected executive vice president and manager. Directors include Vetal Lee Smith Charles Unsekd R. M. Golliday with others serving second year terms. The treasurer reported assets of 12735.67 as of June 30 1963 and noted 128 received January 21 to June 30 from twelve donors. The Foundation plans increased outreach in eastern West Virginia aiming to aid student loans through the United Student Aid Fund and to boost college attendance among high school graduates.

Lottie Cheney Springer resided in Hagerstown most of life before moving to Pen Mar in 1947. She worked as a guard at Frick Company Waynesboro until retirement and belonged to St Pauls UB Church Men’s Bible Class and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving are wife Birs Emma Nunamaker Saringer daughters Mrs Ens tmunger Pen Mar Barchart Fort Knox KY and four grandchildren. Funeral services set for Sunday 2 p.m. at Coffman Funeral Home with Rev Lebo officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday 7 9 p.m.
