Cearfoss Man Is Held On Charge
Charles A. Hopp of Cearfoss, 45, was arrested on a charge of receiving stolen goods tied to the larceny of chocolate bars from a Western Maryland Railway car in local yards last December 17. He admitted receiving the goods but claimed he did not know they were stolen. Merle Berger and Roger Billman, both from Baltimore area blocks, were jailed on $500 bonds for the actual robbery and confessed.
