President Roosevelt's Mother Recovers From Illness
New York April 30 Mrs. Delano Roosevelt mother of the President aged about five years rests at her home after a severe attack of indigestion. She and companion Mrs. Gordon Crawford were returning from a pre opening visit to the New York World's Fair when illness struck. A chauffeur stopped the car and she rested two hours in a Corona Queens drug store where aromatic spirits of ammonia were given. She then returned home by car and spoke by telephone with the President saying she was feeling fine. No physician was summoned.

Baby and Two Men Injured in Frederick Street Crash
A two year old baby and two men sustained serious injuries after a 9 30 P M collision on Frederick street. Bruce Motts suffered head injuries and a possible skull fracture while his grandfather Werbert Moats had head and neck injuries and possible ankle fracture. Maynard Iseminger received cuts to hands and body bruises. Moats state car east bound collided with Iseminger’s west bound machine as Iseminger turned left. All three were taken to Washington County Hospital.
