Emory Vimory Harlish, 87, a resident of Woburn Maver near Downsville, died at Washington County Hospital Monday afternoon due to complications. Born and raised in Hancock area, he spent most of his life there working in orchards. There are 10 survivors. The body was taken to AK Coffin Funeral Home for prayers Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. with Rev. Paul Byrnes officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

C C Woods Jr and John Remier of Chambersburg were named by the hospital fund drive campaign as chairman and associate for the major division. The projected site grading and building aim to cost about 8.5 million dollars with completion expected in 1958.
