Seven-man crew strives to cap North Sea Ekofisk gusher
In Ekofisk field a seven-man crew led by two Texans works to seal a 6600 gallon hour leak from a blown oil well near Grave platform. An Ekofisk Center spokesman says progress is good and hours rather than days may seal the spill. The slick covers about 130 square miles and ecological damage is feared if not stopped promptly. Dirt Band to play Russian circuit on Soviet tour
The Dirt Band the former Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will tour the Soviet Union beginning in Moscow for a two hour concert schedule.
