New York April 24 International News Service reports Senora Enriguitta Ruibo of Mexico bore eight children at once and received $800 from President Alvaro Obregon. The note recalls 1872 Ohio case of Mrs. Timothy Bradlee who bore five boys and three girls, all surviving, a world famous prolificity linked to a family history of multiple births. A Spanish mother is said to hold the overall record with fifteen offspring at once, per Dr Albucasis in 1122.

DIES IN POTOMAC AFTER HEART ATTACK ON BOAT
Mrs. David Mann aged 69 slipped from a boat on the Potomac near Four Locks while crossing to Maryland. Her husband assisted, a rescue party arrived, and she died of natural causes from a heart attack. She survived by 11 children and lived with her son-in-law in West Virginia.
