Troop 6 of the First Christian Church hosted a meeting with new assistant scoutmaster Harold Hoftian and contests between two patrols with Moose Patrol winning 3 to 2. prize ice cream. Troop 9 at St John’s Lutheran fixed up the troop room and built fires as training and round table meetings occur there Tuesday. one new member and several tests passed. Troop 11 had a brief hike to City Park for an archery exhibition by J. B. Ferguson, then a moose-hunt sketch, 100 percent attendance noted. Troop 12’s Friday night meeting featured an opening by McBrien, a talk on advancement, a short play, and initiation of Ward Cushen Webb Bobby Campbell Jack Lawman Dean Marquart and Jimmy Webb into the troop. refreshments served. Troop 16, sponsored by the American Legion, admitted a new member. neckerchief colors selected. Hikes included Lawrence Br gunier Ralph Schlotterbeck Peoni Spielman and Charles Stevinson to Indian Springs and Fort Frederick with another hike planned. Troop 11 and another troop combined a hike to Fairview Mountain with water balloon and fire making lessons. Flying Eagle Patrol of Troop 11 won. Troop 6 at First Christian Church continued with an engaging session.
