Trustees of the Fahrney Memorial for the Aged at San-Mar held a meeting with JEB Fahrney presiding. A resolution thanked donors including Miss Sadie Barnhart Mrs Hake Elias Warner Mrs N C Becard Carl Foltz and others for gifts over the past three months. The Home currently hosts six residents. Easter was happy under Supt Latz and Mrs Cartee. Visitors welcome and donations appreciated.

Post Office Schedules New Third Class Mailing Rates
The new schedule raises fees for amounts up to $40 with increments from 6 to 15 cents, while higher amounts up to $160 see 18 to 22 cent steps. The $40 rate remains 15 cents. Harry May aged 18 was found lying unconscious on the Middleburg Pike near Bellevue Saturday night. He returned to work Sunday morning and officer H C Baughman found him normal and brought him home. May offered no explanation beyond saying he had not been drinking.
