Struck By Car Leaves Man Seriously Hurt Near Funks Town
John O'Neil of near Bolivar Frederick county was seriously injured Saturday at about 8 30 p m when struck by an automobile on the eastern edge of Funks town. He was rushed to Washington County Hospital with a compound fracture of the right leg a broken left arm and a fractured skull. The driver George H Bickel of the 13th Engineers Fort Belvoir Virginia is being held.

Hancock Man Injured In Hancock Train Collision
Howard McCusker a 53 year old Hancock resident was struck by a Western Maryland freight engine at Cahill's crossing late Saturday night. He suffered head and shoulder injuries and was treated at a Hancock residence before being moved to Washington County Hospital. River searches recover more bodies after Tug Radiant sank
