Washington April 11 A traffic cop defeats a Supreme Court justice in a case where Justice Murphy dissented. Private R V Taylor of the Metropolitan Traffic police halted a car for a lane violation at 14th and Pennsylvania and took the driver to headquarters for booking. The justice contended the arrest infringed liberty for a misdemeanor in presence of the officer.
