Encouraging reports from the first day of canvassing at the Chamber of Commerce headquarters show Kreider-Reisner Aircraft Corp stock sales nearing ten thousand dollars. Roy A. Leiter, chairman, presided as four of seven teams reported, widening momentum toward the $35,000 goal needed to proceed.
The Kreider Reisner Corp. in Hagerstown remains involved this week as the next meeting of the teams is scheduled for Thursday night.
More than 225 people attended the second annual community Easter celebration at Keedysville athletic field under the Men’s Bible Classes. The cee hunt drew about 90 children under years old as colored eggs hid in Taylor field. Paul Cronise won a silver loving cup for finding the most eggs, to be kept until next year. Charles K. Taylor led the egg hunt and events including a baseball game between married men and bachelors.
