Babysitter Beverly Schittlknach told police the boy ran to the back door and fell through a glass storm door pane while attempting to unlatch the door.
William Milford Trail 97 died Thursday evening at his Little Orleans home after a several year illness. He lived his life there as a farmer, son of James T. Trail and Amanda Swain of Belle Grove. Survived by wife Maysel Ketterman Trail and children James Washington Millard Amarnnth Merle, Carolyn Virginia Trail Norma Conrad, plus brothers John Herbert Glenn and sisters Distin Havener Ruth Weicht. Funeral Sunday at 4 pm Piney Plains Methodist Church. Rev. Henry May officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
