Alleged Thief Held After Chickens Sold to Hancock Dealer
Elmer Creek, of near the Maryland Pennsylvania line, is held for Bedford authorities on chicken theft charges. Creek sold 14 stolen fowl to a Hancock dealer identified as Elmer Creek by home owner J. M. Poole. Police link Creek to a band of chicken thieves with losses in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
