Thieu Warns of Threat If Cambodia Falls to Reds

South Vietnamese President Nguyen Van Thieu warned that if Cambodia falls to Communists it would threaten Vietnam’s security. After summit talks with President Nixon, Thieu and Mrs Thieu met congressional leaders and discussed postwar reconstruction in Indochina. He said Cambodia’s fall could trigger actions by Saigon, with the US providing heavy air support amid a Cambodian ceasefire uncertainty.
