Charles Ernest Vanarsdale of Berkeley Springs died at 7 p.m. Sunday at Washington County Hospital after a crash on the highway. He was 40, son of Ernest and Margaret Vanarsdale of Hancock, worked as a laborer at a mill, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves in Hagerstown. Survived by siblings Tedye, Charlene, Roberta, Clarence, Leon, and Wriendy. Visitation at Grove Funeral Home in Hancock after 4 p.m. today. Funeral Thursday at 2 p.m. at Harmony Bible Church with Rev. Hobert Noley officiating. Burial at Alpine Cemetery, Hancock. Military graveside rites by the Army Reserves at Wagerstown.
