Electric shock fatality on Canyon Flume at Power Development Co
Sam Spear was fatally shocked while working on the Canyon flume for the Power Development Company. Entangled in a high voltage wire between 600 and 10,000 volts, he collapsed at noon and remained unconscious. Dr Tay rushed to the scene as company workers investigated the accident. Spear had about two years at the firm and was regarded as careful.
