Sacramento June 2 The legislature opened in special session with rapid organization. Senate and House adopted agreed measures and recessed to 4 o clock. Miners Riot at Cananea Triggers U S Aid Request

Washington June 2 The conferees on the railroad rate bill have reached a complete agreement and the report has been signed Senator Tillman will present the report to the Senate at the first opportunity today At 4 o clock Tillman presented to the Senate the conference report on the railroad rate bill He asked that the report be printed and that the bill as it is will become a law if the report is accepted so as to show the changes made He said that only two such changes had been made and that they would be explained when the report is taken up for consideration.
