Board of Trade urges city to form health board
In Bakersfield California December 28 1898 the Board of Trade recommends the city trustees establish a city board of health by ordinance under section 3061 of the Political Code. It names Dr. R A Fergusson Dr Homer Rogers A K Warren Chas P Fox and R Patterson Fox as members who will serve without pay. An ordinance will be drafted and submitted. A new Owl time card rumored will cut Los Angeles to San Francisco travel time by about two hours.
