Monrovia Fire Destroys Major Buildings in Deepest Loss
From Visalia to Sacramento reports a major Monrovia blaze started at 2 am destroying four large business structures including Large & Wheeler’s furniture store and a harness shop. Fire caused heavy uninsured losses with one block partly ruined and a cause traced to a defective flue.
