Fatality at Kern City as brakeman Jesse Henderson dies
A night accident in Kern City railroad yards claims the life of Jesse Henderson, 2 legs crushed by a slowly moving box car after he missteps near a switching area. Death occurs about three hours later. Henderson, a longtime Kern County resident, leaves a widow, Mrs Randall Henderson, who is deeply grieving. Funeral services are set for 2:30 PM tomorrow from the Robb residence in Kern City.
