Reuben Butterfield died at his home in the Lowell addition yesterday morning after a brief illness. An old-time Kern County resident who came here twenty eight years ago he was seventy three and well respected. He leaves children Reuben and Lee Butterfield Mrs T L Briggs and Mrs J M Davis all residents here. The funeral was held today at 2 o clock.
