Seven-year sentence for Ed Scott in San Quentin
A Bakersfield reader reports Ed Scott was sentenced by Judge Mahon to seven years in San Quentin for robbing the Mug saloon. Scott claimed youth and limited residence, but the court deemed him older. He faces about four years and nine months with good behavior. He says his family knows nothing of his trouble and hopes they remain unaware.
