Four Die In Head On Freight Train Collision
Four men were killed and three injured in a head-on collision between two Maine Central freight trains near Anniebescock Lewiston Maine. The dead include the engineers of both trains and a fireman and a brakeman. The other fireman and two brakemen were severely hurt.

Insurance Delegation Arrives in Germany for Claims
In Berlin on December 7 the San Francisco delegates Dohrman Thomas and Su Tro to urge payment of claims against defaulters were welcomed by the German Imperial Insurance Company officials. Privy Councillor Gruner arranged to accompany them to Hamburg to confer with managers of two companies. Dr Gutzech, who arrived earlier with the same aim, joined the delegation.

Indian Boys Die Together On Scaffold
