At Valley road yards around 10 am a gravel train unloading incident caused a rope break over a pulley. Five cablemen and shovelers were struck by the swinging cable. one, Charles Lindstrom, is severely injured and later had a leg amputated, others with various injuries are hospitalized but expected to recover.
