Lizzie Hatfield ten year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo Hatfield of West Anaheim was shot and killed by her sister Rosie age twelve after finding a left loaded 22 caliber rifle. The gun discharged without warning. Lizzie stood directly in front of the weapon and the bullet entered her breast and lodged beneath the skin in the back. She died within thirty minutes.
