John Withington and Kittie Yorke were shot in a Chinatown city restaurant when an unknown man clashed at their table. Robbins, arrested within minutes, admitted the crime after witnesses traced his steps from the Arlington to the Louvre. Deaths on Santa Fe Two
Wreck on the Santa Fe at Coombs siding last night left two men dead. Fireman Thomas Martin aboard the oil train is missing and presumed burned. Engineer George Gardiner of engine No 3 died from severe burns and scalds. Seven other crew members were injured but survived.

The corner stone of Fresno's new Catholic church was laid yesterday. The church, adjoining the Sisters' convent beyond the Santa Fe railroad, will be the finest in the area and is expected to cost about 50,000 dollars. Bishop Geo Montgomery attended from Los Angeles to deliver the address.
