Mrs Gladys Klein testified she heard Lansdowne say he was not sent he went and that Lansdowne denied criticizing the Navy or secretary. Mason the uncle said Foley and secretary seized on impeaching Lansdowne. Subpoena denied for Capt Heinen. Major Kennedy backed Mitchell on calcium chloride and overweight findings. NOME Alaska November 18 Telegraphic information from St Lawrence Island reports 14 year old Helen Pungo wijiy daughter of the island’s oldest native resident was likely fatally burned when her clothing caught fire from a seal oil lamp in an igloo. Much of the upper body skin was burned. Government nurse and teacher aided her. The girl’s grandmother was burned on the left arm trying to put out the flames.
