Poland reportedly seeks the annexation of the Free City of Danzig and control over the German controlled road linking Germany with East Prussia via the Polish Corridor. Hitler seeks an economic understanding with Warsaw.
Clyde Pangborn the American dress designer who flew nonstop from Japan to Wenatchee in 1931 married Swann Duval a Paris dress designer in Southampton England today. The couple met two years ago when Pangborn pulled Duval from a snow drift at a Swiss resort.

London March 29 Every evening a platoon of soldiers with fixed bayonets marches through the City to guard the Bank of England. The guard began in 1780 during the Gordon riots and has continued since. The riots were sparked by Catholic emancipation and required about 20 000 troops to quell them.

A Smyrna report says a Swiss watch firm posts a 250 dollar reward for the missing timepiece believed to have saved the life of Kemal Ataturk on the Dardanelles front by stopping a bullet. The watch was given to a German general, whose widow reportedly sold it to an American after the general's death.
