Meeks Second Murder Verdict Appeal Denied
George Harrison Meeks, convicted of first degree murder on March 9, 1946, had his second appeal denied by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The suit also named James Alves and Robert Fuller. Kimball is charged with not paying a promissory note signed in Oct 1948. He is engaged in the transfer and storage business here. Alves and Fuller have a leasehold on property on which the Veterans ask foreclosure of the mortgage.
