Montesano Washington March 15 The jury in the I W W case tried for the murder of Warren Grimm at Centralia on Armistice Day returned a verdict at 925 p m Saturday night quiting Elmer Smith Mike Sheehan and Loren Roberts and finding the other defendants guilty of murder in the second degree Roberts was acquitted because the jury found him insane It was recommended that Roberts be confined The penalty for second degree murder is from fifteen years to life imprisonment in the penitentiary The convicted men heard the verdict without emotion and burst into the I W W song to the tune of John Browns Body when returned to their cells
