Yale Defeats Harvard in Four Mile Crew Race
Yale's varsity crew beat Harvard's varsity over a four mile course in New London by a length and a half. The win marked the fifth straight Yale victory in the historic Yale Harvard regatta begun in 1858, with Yale holding 31 wins to Harvard's 27. The winning time was 20 minutes 4 seconds. Earlier Yale freshmen and junior varsity squads also defeated Harvard crews.
