Water supply ordinance drawn up by Juneau council
The Juneau City Council decided to draft an ordinance to prevent water waste and frost damage to the Janeau system. It will not pass until TR. FP. Lewis, head of the water company, can speak after his June arrival. The draft sets mains at nonfreezing depth, residents to care for pipes, and aims to equalize distribution with reworked tank use. The budget for schools was approved with minor sidewalk funding and traffic safety discussions continued.
