Outside beer distributors plan an injunction suit to restrain collection of the importers tax under the new Territorial liquor law. Attorney General Truitt ruled the tax provision constitutional and up to the Territory to regulate liquor imports, with licenses expiring at end of June and the new law taking effect July 1.
Authorities renewed the search for a woman and her one year old child aboard a passenger bus that carried at least seven to death in the highway crash near Shiloah Springs, 48 miles north of Redding. The nine dead include driver Mortimer Wilson and four others identified as Alfred Wessel, C. A. Shafter, Ray of Colorado, and Tim Neely or Neville.

Cross of Noel Wein Airways is set to arrive from Nome as the Electra lands from Juneau. Soon after, a marriage ceremony is planned linking the air minded couple. In White Plains New York June 6 the will of the late John D Rockefeller Sr valued at about 26 million dollars was filed in the Surrogate's Court dated June 2 1925 three codicils are attached. The residue is left to trustees during the life of granddaughter Mrs Margaret de Cuevas of Lakewood New Jersey with income paid to her or her descendants or to the Rockefeller Institute of Medical Research. Tax officers in Albany estimate state taxes at 4 350 000 dollars.

Canton Ohio June 5 Major Cam Cole National Guard observer in the steel strike was riding in a police cruiser when his tear gas gun discharged. There was a hasty exit from the cruiser by air but no fatalities occurred and sight was recovered later.
Seattle. June 5. The Inland Boatmen's Association rejected Governor Martin's proposed settlement for the Puget Sound ferry strike. The unions said portions were acceptable but the proposal as a whole could not be accepted, citing no assurance wages would not be withdrawn after 30 days.
June 5 Richmond California CIO and UAW workers vote two to one against the proposed settlement of the Richmond Ford Assembly plant strike. Local UAW president Frank Slaby voiced visible upset as the vote contradicted his earlier expectations.
