Regulations changes proposed by Alaska Game Commission
The Alaska Game Commission completed an eleven day session and sent recommended changes in game fur and other regulations to become effective July 1, 1935 for the next fiscal year. Details will be issued in Game Law Circular No. 12 next spring. The commission also adopted a plan to divide Alaska into three migratory bird zones and asks local chambers of commerce and sportsmen groups to propose open seasons for each zone. Zone one covers Southeast Alaska east of the 141st meridian, zone two the south of the Alaska Range, and zone three the north of the range, with zone three seeking an early start date under the treaty.
