Verbal accords are sought as written agreements amid ongoing strike negotiations with Sailors Union of the Pacific Marine Firemens Union and Employers Association. Stenographers were tasked with drafting the agreements. A separate note reports the Joint Strike Committee approved releasing a 4700 ton cargo of corn aboard the Norwegian motorship which was feared by poultrymen to be unloaded. The corn is needed for poultry farmers.
