Captain E R Stone and wife proceed to Fort Seward. City of Seattle also sails tonight with A B Cole and wife John Abrams Samuel Miller for Juneau and Mrs John Henson for Douglas. Departure expected between 10 and midnight.
Douglas tale of a marital dispute ends with Aliee McNutt arrested after firing two shots through a front door at her husband, Douglas McNutt, who was wounded. He was treated and expects recovery. The weapon, a .22 caliber pistol, was found hidden later. Bond set at 500 dollars for the defendant.

SING SING New York December 18 Two youths Stanley J Millstein 19 killed a policeman and Charles Kurow 20 killed a tug boat captain were sentenced to die on the chair. They asked the chapel chaplain Father Cashin to plead for an earlier execution to ease their parents grief by Christmas. The warden granted their request and they will die early tomorrow morning.
The W. C. T. U. will meet at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church.

Seattle reported James O'Brien a Longshoreman was struck with a blunt instrument and killed near Island View Hotel after being seen with Grace Quirk, owner. Police sought J. Quirk, her husband. A letter from O'Brien's wife in Roblin, Manitoba warned him to stay safe and not leave home.
