Mrs. Clara DePalma collapsed on the witness stand during the hearing for a temporary allowance from Ralph DePalma the former motor king of the race track. She was awarded 200 dollars claiming desertion by her husband.

Santiago Chile December 17 the first foreign airplane factory built by American aviation interests has been completed and work started on its first order of 40 military planes for the Chilean air corps. Chilean engineers trained at Buffalos Curtiss Wright plant will staff the operation while native labor handles production under supervision. Kathleen Burke Mc Lean aged 24, famed as the Angel of France during World War I, wed Girard Van Darnoo Hale. he is a 44 year old mural painter and descendant of Stephen Girard.
