Frank A Boyle longtime Alaska Territorial Auditor and Democratic stalwart died at his Assembly Apartments home after a two week illness. Born June 1 1877 in Mount Pleasant Pennsylvania he served in U S Land Office Juneau and held offices including Commissioner of Corporations Insurance and the Budget Board. Surviving are his widow Jane Morris Boyle and two sisters with funeral plans not yet set.

Charles E Wilson President of General Electric is named its director with powers under the Defense Production Act of 1950 to issue directives and reshape agencies.
