Dutch Navy Operating Off Western Hemisphere Captures German Ship

The Navy reports the German freighter Rhein, 6,000 tons, is now in possession of the Dutch destroyer Vrankensbergen off Cuba. The Rhein tried to scuttle, and this marks the first indication of Dutch naval operation off the Western Hemisphere amid prior pursuit of the Idarwald by the British cruiser Diomede last Sunday.
