Captain Rene Rugnet of the Paris reported a 45 foot wave that struck the vessel on the Atlantic crossing. Forty passengers were injured with seventeen needing medical care. ADMITS SHE KILLED MATE IN MONTANA POSTMASTER CASE
Greybull Montana August 30 Mrs Charles Fitzmaurice confessed to authorities she killed her husband Greybull postmaster after a quarrel over alleged intimacies with other women. Officers said she admitted firing twice and placing his body in an automobile then transporting it miles away before disposing of it in grass. The death was initially thought to be a suicide.
