Ramon Feres a 34 year old unemployed cigar maker in Tampa killed himself by sitting nude amid thousands of hornets. He first attempted drowning but swam to a nearby job then jumped into a hornet nest. His swollen body was later taken from the nest by his mother who fought hornets and helped carry him to hospital where he died after refusing treatment.
