Will Rogers will receive private funeral rites Thursday with only family and close friends present. The body will lie in state at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Glendale for five hours from 7 a.m. The service will be led by Kirk Heather and Dr. J Whitcomb Brougher at 2 p.m. A crypt burial will follow and remains planned for later transport to Oklahoma for burial.
