Reese B. Brown a Seattle and Spokane realtor was indicted on income tax evasion charges. Bail set at 20000. Liens against him total 400000. Brown recently won a new trial after a 175000 judgment was awarded to Miss Ivyl Barker a Seattle school teacher for alleged breach of promise.
The Navy will study the Bartlett deep in the Caribbean Sea between the Bay of Honduras and Guantanamo to collect data on central American earthquakes. The trough is a 1,000 mile long unknown depth feature, identified as an quake center, with few soundings ever done.

Col Charles A Lindbergh and Mrs Lindbergh landed Helé at Barrow Alaska at 2 AM Pacific Time after a foggy six and a half hour flight from Aklavik covering 523.3 miles. They departed Aklavik at 7:80 PM the previous night for Point Barrow.
