Ot Moore Leads Scout Troop For Homecoming Event
Rev Ot Moore, a 1905 tackle and former baseball star from Cornell, brought a squad of Bennett boy scouts to Mechanicsville then hiked with packs to Cornell for Homecoming celebrations. Qt resigned as Alumni Secretary last spring to take a pastorate at Bennett.
Talks on Women’s Conditions in Assyria and South America
Mr Nayia and Mr Asfer spoke at a YWCA meeting on Thursday. Cath erine Gould sang a solo before talks contrasting women’s roles in Assyria with those in South America. Mr Asfer noted weak physical status and arranged marriages in Assyria while Mr Navia praised politeness and criticized excess jewelry among South American women. The evening included a national anthem sung by Mr Navia and praise for WCA efforts promoting outdoor sports.

The Cornell College lecture series for 1921 22 will present five numbers starting November 17 with Charles Rann Kennedy and Edith Wynne Matthison performing scenes from famous dramas. A three course Halloween dinner kicked off Altoona Homecoming events last night with Frances Agnew presiding over the toast program. Florence Tesmery Georgia Duckworth Alta Woods and Miss Reed delivered toasts. Guild hall girls performed a playlet Young Man's Raney by Ruth Moore between courses.

Re modeling of the Knox Grill in Cornell circles aims to create an artistic up to date eating place and banquet hall. W. K. Knox and Mrs. A. K. Juniors Plan Big Masquerade at Roman Hall

Sincere Friends Recall Dr King Life of Service at Cornell

Cornell College announces the creation of a Museum of American Chemicals to be housed in a new science building. The project aims to prove the United States can rival Germany in quality and variety of chemical production, dispelling propaganda about American capabilities. The collection will showcase American-made chemicals and materials, replacing remaining German samples.
