The cross country squad elected Maynard M. Schell as varsity captain after a run around the course. Schell, a former letter winner in mile and half mile, led the team in last fall’s cross country and the home meet. Prospects for the Iowa University encounter include Errett Stafford Chapman Schell Day Cole Corlett Temple Anderson Yaw and Warren Bieber with Chenoweth sidelined by foot and ankle trouble. The Iowa University Cornell meet is set for November 6. Mrs Tull and Master Way stayed two weeks at the Biederman cottage Palisades.
