Former Cornell Oratory Head Coaches for Screen in California
Miss Theodora Ursula Irvine head of the Cornell school of oratory 1902 to 1904 spent the summer coaching pupils for the movie screen in California. On returning to New York for the regular season she drew many pupils to continue training under her. Irvine has run the Dramatic Art studio at Carnegie Hall and trained star pupil Alice Brady. Bernice Smith and Maude Beaman were seen visiting family in Waterloo and Anamosa respectively.
