Lieut. Col. W. C. Rigby class of 92, a J A D officer in Washington, led an effort to reform U S court martial proceedings. He studied European systems, testified before Congress, and helped draft a new law now outlined in a government printing book. Previously a cadet captain and later a noted Chicago criminal lawyer, he joined the J A D service at the outbreak of war.

A Pittsfield pupil and Cornell College alumna, she earned her A.B. and completed psychiatric social work studies at Smith College Northampton. Daughter of Judge and Mrs. John T. Moffit of Tipton.

Sinclair F. Beatty Cornel ’15 wed Miss Estelle Sully of New York City in Dallas on September 27, 1920. Beatty, brother of Katherine Beatty ex-’22, served in the AEF then met Sully at Camp Devens amid army YMCA work. The couple resides at 2015 South Harwood Dallas. Beatty is a cost accountant for the United Typothetae of America with travels to New York Chicago Vancouver and Dallas.

Miss Dew Dailey a Cornell College graduate class of 1918 sailed October 6 from New York aboard the Santa Ana bound for Callao Peru. She was appointed an instructor at the Methodist Episcopal High School Callao by the Bard of Foreign Missions. Former pastor of the First M FE Church in Boston he previously worked with Dr E J Helms in Morgan Memorial settlement efforts.
