Raymond Grant Cornell field secretary will launch a statewide campaign to organize alumni groups starting Monday in Waterloo. Frosh frolicked at the gym last Saturday night in their first social of the year. The party ran from seven to ten, featuring the grand march, budding romances, ice cream sandwiches, games, songs, and merriment as they ended tired but happy.
Paulson Chosen to Twirl for White Sox
Guilford Paulson an 18 year old Cornell college sophomore signed with the Chicago White Sox and may finish college before reporting. He will pitch for the Purple next spring if he delays league play and has shown strong pitching with Cornell. The Graettinger Iowa native also starred on the freshman varsity basketball squad.
