Bruce a Chippewa Indian born on Turtle Mountain Reservation North Dakota attended Haskell Indian School Carlisle played guard on the mythical All American eleven in 1912 under Walter Camp. He was a cornet soloist in the Million Dollar Band during World War I and has since taught and performed. Bruce comes via Martin Band Instrument Company Elkhart Indiana and Western Wood-Wind Company Cedar Rapids. College band sponsors the event. public invited.
